The wonderful view of the active volcano and crater lake

Kintamani, a worldwide renowned tourism resort it is located at Kintamani district, Bangli regency, about 68 km in distance from Denpasar.

Kintamani is a village with an extensive area about 1548 Hectares with its central district of authority located in this village. This village has long been known as one of favourite tourist resorts in Bali. From this village, one can enjoy the panorama over viewing Batur Lake with it volcano MT. Batur.

Art and culture is quite developed in this village, some of the group artists are: Gong (Gamelan orchestra). Group, Joged Bumbung (kind of youth dances), Baris Jago, Baris Perisai (kinds of warrior dancers). Rejang Mendut, Legong, Sang Hyang Dedari (kinds of sacred dances) and many others. The weather is cool and pleasant, added with its amazing panorama and Kintamani is also a stopover for visitor going through the line Denpasar-Singaraja via East route.

There is also a beautiful temple frequently visited by tourist named : Penulisan temple, located on a hill of 1745 meters height. There are some accommodations available like: non-star hotels, home stays, guest-houses and restaurants. Mostly crowded by locals and foreign visitors while holiday seasons.
